I drink tea in the morning!
I'm not good at ordinary conversations in college
Like, "how's the weather?"
So school it never got any better
And I never listened when they said you gotta learn time tables
And draw the alphabet on paper that was printed at staples
From the pocket of a teacher paid like she works in the stables
"Shavalavalavalavalavalava-laehahoo!"
Your college degree sits on the shelf
It's time to make something of yourself
And I wasn't good at reading
Nor comprehension mathematics of any sort
Nor did I excel at any sport
(C'mon, it hit you right in the hands!)
I didn't like the library
No it wasn't the place for me
Sit down in your seat
Stop moving and repeat the phrase
I will not misbehave
Your son he's a little strange
"Oh so what" she would say
You're not going to school today
We'll go to the beach and play or whatever you wanna do
I just wanna spend time with you
Your college degree sits on the shelf
It's time to make something of yourself
And I was the one who threw paper at the bus driver
And almost got us in a crash
(Which one of you threw that?!)
School it cannot get any better
And maybe when I'm older I'll become sentimental about the
Third place medals and literature I never read
And the elementary drawings that my mother kept safe locked away
"Shavalavalavalavalavalava-laehahoo!"
Sit down in your seat
Stop moving and repeat the phrase
I will not misbehave
Your son he's a little strange
"Oh so what" she would say
You're not going to school today
We'll go to the beach and play or whatever you wanna do
I just wanna spend time with you
Your college degree sits on the shelf
It's time to make something of yourself
School they say it affects your wealth
But don't you know its bad for your health
