Every time I leave home, I check the weather on my phone
It gets me ready for the day, tells me what I need to know
But recently they've been getting it all wrong
And I don't know what's going on
It tells me partly cloudy, I walk outside and it's raining
And it always inflates the temperature, it's so frustrating
And I don't know if I can trust it anymore
I'm tired of getting left out in the cold
If only I'd known, I would've packed an umbrella
If only I'd known, I would've worn a sweater
If only I'd known, I'd have my shit together
I should've known better
Check the weather
I keep on checkin' it
It keeps on letting me down
Check the weather
I keep on checkin' it
It keeps on letting me down
Everybody loves complaining about the weather man
And yet, we just keep coming back
He's not so good at predicting the future
He's always getting it wrong and making us look stupid
That said, I still love to check
It's just so convenient I really wanna believe it
I love checking it, but I think
I'm in love the idea, much more than the real thing
If only I'd known, I would've packed an umbrella
If only I'd known, I would've worn a sweater
If only I'd known, I'd have my shit together
I should've known better
Check the weather
I keep on checkin' it
It keeps on letting me down
Check the weather
I keep on checkin' it
It keeps on letting me down
Check the weather
I keep on checkin' it
It keeps on letting me down
Check the weather
I keep on checkin' it
It keeps on letting me down
And every time I'm like
Maybe I should just look out the window
And every time I'm like
Maybe I should just go outside
And see for myself
And every time I'm like
Maybe I'd be better off on my own
