And this Christmas, will be
A very special Christmas, for me
Fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
Tell em that its lit, this christmas
Going through every wishlish
Giving the kids gifts, for them, being so gifted
I Worked OT, to get double paid
So they can have, what I didnt when I was they age
Couple things for the wife, for playing Misses Clause
Window shopped, I'm in and out once hit the stores
For my momma, my pop, sisters brothers, they kids
Finna have it turnt up in the crib
Tell the fam, we home for the holidays
Ugly sweaters, and stories by the fire place
Soul food and chardonnay
Put ego aside, dont be arrogant
Cuz when aunty pull your card, its embarassing
Grandma have a couple drinks, and we all get shook
Cuz in a minute she gon' open up the photobook
And, We might not have it all, but its certain
The love is worth more, than anything that we purchase
And this Christmas, will be
A very special Christmas, for me
Fireside is blazing bright
We're caroling through the night
Time to round up the troops
Instead of reminiscing how we lounge on the stoop
Let's take a lil time, to give back our roots
Start touching the lives
Of the people, and show love is something money cant buy
Giving back to the hood and less fortunate
Bunch of gifts, to shelters and orphanage
Tell them things might hard and the times might be dark
But they shine bright as trees with the ornaments
Blessed enough
Can't explain success, I guess its luck
And if we lucky to have, some extra stuff
Why cant we give it to those, with less than us?
