Tywan Bell - The Reality Check (Cut Scene) Lyrics

Tywan Bell - The Reality Check (Cut Scene) Lyrics
Official

What you just heard was a portion of what I came from
In a short selection of detrimental situations
That I was faced with when I was younger living with my mother
From the abuse that she felt while being in a relationship that didn't have a stable foundation
I started to notice the demons over time and didn't know how to react
Or take away the pain that was inside of her without it disrupting my spirit and my mind
But in the end of the day, all I could do was stay by her side
As I try to process life from my perspective
And after losing my homeboy to suicide
I didn't know if I had any value and let me tell you why
While I was dealing with my own situation
I was fighting a battle great- greater than mine
I was tryna save a life from the negative thoughts
That was running through his head on a daily
And I won't speak on his situation fully, but it was bad enough
To emotionally tear your soul away from what's real by doing unthinkable things
That can make you do a double suicide in this human experience and in the spiritual realm
And don't forget about the bullying I was face with from the 6th to the 12th grade
From being slapped in class and having to slap-box alphas knowing I was a omega
To trying to fit in, then becoming to the outcast of the outcast
And starting a small group with only a few true friends
We was the nameless living nameless before nameless movement was discovered
But that's another story for another time
But now it's time to turn it up a notch, just a little bit
It's about that time to start handing out reality checks
To the ones who judge others for being in a certain circumstance
By flexing on the World Wide Web A.K.A Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Etc.
Only for some chicken heads who only value the money in ya pocket
'Cause all you say is that you gettin' to the bag while flexin' in a whip that's a rental
And sorry for not being sorry if this offends ya pride and low self-esteem mindset
But here's a reality check that you can go cash out at your nearest bank
HAAAA!
