Do you think nature cares what you think
Do wolves ever become what the lambs eat
In the jaws of a beast you are nothing but a piece of meat
Fortune favours tooth, claw and mind aware
Life isn't fair
Imagine life carried through the passage of time
By a benevolent hand serving what we believe right
Would delicate flesh void of life and death feel gratitude of scrutinise
Would it be at peace or would all meaning cease to be
Is it right to starve a beast that eats flesh
To save another from its death
Who said all that's eaten doesn't suffer
If no bloods was shed
Civilisation drunk on the black gold of Mother Nature
Welcoming death, lest we take from child all was built by ancestor
Does gravity obey prayer and wishful thinking?
As the weight of far too many feel the ship sinking
Devolution, without survival of the fittest
Progression treading lightly, lest someone get offended
What burdensome, fragile, wasted potential are we left with?
Risk and reward deprived, parasitic child living to die
Culmination of all life and death, we are nature at its best
Honour the sacrifice forced upon the innocent with every breath
Those who think they're owed the world will simply return to the soil
While intelligent beasts attain immortality
