From distorted nature
My heart's beating for the same reasons it keeps suffocating
Patiently waiting to be broken
What a silly thing
Devoting all this time thinking about something that may never save me
Trading our affection for misery
That keeps us fighting for the same pain we call love
This strain I inflict upon myself
That keeps me from breathing correctly
I am anger
I am love
I'm a bastard
But I have a heart even though it's fractured
If you'd have seen trough my intentions
And felt what I really meant
Would you still overlook me
Would you still speak with such fire and apathy
Who knows where we could have ended up
Anyway I know you'll never understand
I know you'll never get it
If you're able to find beauty
Through humble sights like these
That's a blessing you must cherish
Where did we find these doubts and this hate?
Maybe they've been brought from the pain we call love
