Three hours past noon again
I am complacent
I am stuck
Inside a head my head's inside
Let it all unwind for a quick way out
Outside the doors that lock over my eyes
We've been left behind
We were not raptured
I'm unsure
Can't lose one more wink of sleep
You are all I need other than that
The song we skip over when we rewind
We are bored of life
Weeks have overgrown
It will snow
You can't just shake it off this time
A blackout bleaches to white
And you can't ever know the reason why
You can't go back to sleep this time
But if you slip through the ground
Is it brighter on the other side?
Open my eyes
It is time to pack ourselves away
We can hibernate; I'm unsure
The body's temperature is lessening
We are poisoning
We are bloodletting
It's a cure
