Cornfield high we called our school
I failed at math and did some foolish
Things that only made me grow
Hard times lead to things you know
I can't explain what it did to me
Or how this nature set me free
No matter where you go I guess life ain't fair
Nothing's gonna beat a little fresh air
Cornfield High Where I learned
The power of change
Me and my friends sitting in a field
Watching these light come shining on the yields
Right now there 20 miles away
We knew they were going to get here someday
I guess that days come sooner than we thought
The lands being sold and it's all being bought
By the largest corporations
The ones you might see buy every nation
Cornfield high Where I learned
The power of change
Beauty's in the eye of the beholder
I see beauty in the way the fields would wave around the wind
Nothing stays the same as we get older
Days turn to years and the cycle will not end
Why I'm down this road right now?
I have no clue where why when or how
I guess my soul drove me here
For one more glimpse before it clears
I found myself in what's left of the dust
Now it just feels like a must
To make sure no ones around
Twist one up and burn it down
Cornfield High Where I learned
The power of change
Cornfield High Where I learned
The power of change
The power of change
