It was one of those days when the sun always shines.
My buddies dug up a mysterious egg full of strange signs.
We all gathered 'round, filled with suspense,
But when it cracked open, it was beyond our wildest sense.
It started with a peck, a mechanical sound,
Robot chick rose and looked around,
Its wings unfurled, gears whirring fast,
Sorry, it hurts me to remember the past.
I stood furthest from the egg, but felt fear and awe,
As Robot chick killed two with a razor-sharp claw.
It had laser eyes and metal wings,
Those who approached left blood and screams.
In flight, it shit eggs that exploded like bombs,
Which burned everything, destroyed our homes.
It killed everyone and flew away,
I hope, to Washington, here it had no plans to stay.
Oh no. What a horror. Robot chick!
Hatched from that egg so quick!
Killed many, without a warning!
It was not a good morning!
Robot chick, git, flying high in the sky.
They were killed before they could say goodbye.
To all my fallen friends, it was a surprise,
And I wouldn't say it was nice.
They were wounded and screamed in fright,
Thank God I ran away during the fight.
They say curiosity killed the cat,
But in this case, it was the robot chick, that's a fact.
So beware of mysterious eggs, my friend,
For you never know what will hatch in the end.
And if you see a robot chick with glowing eyes,
Run for your life before you meet your demise.
It could be a sweet little chick or a killer machine,
If you are a producer, remember this story to use in your new film.

"Give me a drink!" I'm done at last,
As memories of friends left in the past,
Of fallen heroes brave and true,
Who fought for what they thought was due.
Pour me another, in their name,
I saved my life; they got the fame.
